CORPUS CHRISTI—After a hard freeze, South Texas Botanical Gardens horticulturist and Executive Director Dr. Michael Womack will advise you to consider filling empty spots in your landscape with water-smart, freeze-resilient and often colorful native plants, at the “Blending Natives into Existing Landscapes” seminar, at 9:15 am, Saturday, August 21, at the Gardens, 8545 S. Staples St.

Up to 30 may attend the seminar in-person, socially-distanced, with masks strongly advised for those not fully-vaccinated, due to length of lecture.  Others may attend by ZOOM.  Free with general admission or membership, $5 others.  For REQUIRED RESERVATIONS, or ZOOM connection, call 361-852-2100.
